Can you love your work? Can be your career as fulfilling now as it was when you initially started? In reality, could it have been ever fulfilling?
For Middle-agers and children alike, generally the solution to these questions isn't any. Which is a real shame, as if you don't enjoy that which you do, what's the reason for doing it?
The obvious response to that is money. People get up each morning, drag themselves off the bed, endure an unpleasant commute to the office and spend throughout the day with a job which they dislike so that they can settle the debts. After your day they do it all once again backwards.
They endure the painful commute back home, eat some dinner, maybe consider relaxing a bit, retire for the night and the cycle repeats. It is no way to live an existence, particularly if are one of those Seniors nearing the fabled Golden Years.
Why is this? How come a lot of us spend a great deal of our everyday life slaving away at something we actually tend not to do, and enduring every one of the discomfort from doing it? Again, the reason being of course money-we must make money.
I buy it- I did so it for a long time myself. I realize the motivation, and I have empathy for the reasoning. But ultimately, I acquired completely fed up. My career will no longer excited me, and my well being no more fulfilled me. It was time to move on, also to change.
Therefore i did. The good news is you can do this too.
