OptFlux 3 has a series of packages that give the capability to visualize a metabolic network. You can know more about them here.
It's possible to import a XGMML layout to a project using the import function wizard from this plugin.
The wizard has two simple steps, where you can choose the project and the file to upload the layout, and after it, choose the field/attribute from the xgmml, that will map the nodes from the layout with the metabolic model from OptFlux.
Remeber that with xgmml layouts, it's not possible to have nodes that don't exist in the metabolic model.

To export the layout just select the project and the layout, a flux distribution and a range of values for the thickness of the edges.
